"A great recognition": a cultural café in Mercantour praised by "Lonely Planet"

The Carnet d'inspiration du Mercantour cultural café in Saint-Martin-Vésubie has been recognized by Lonely Planet in its travel guides Exploring the region - Côte d'Azur and Exploring the Alpes d'Azur.
"This distinction comes at the right time for the third anniversary of the opening of my business. It is a great satisfaction, a recognition: Lonely Planet is a guide for true lovers of travel," rejoices Corinne Paolini, the owner of the cultural café.
The story of Lonely Planet begins in 1972, when Tony and Maureen Wheeler set off on their honeymoon with only a few pennies in their pockets.
Upon their return, the Australian couple decided to share their knowledge through what would become the first Lonely Planet travel guide.
Success was immediate. Lonely Planet is now the world's leading publisher of travel guides.
